The cranky old man

Cranky at the pub
Welcome to my blog site, and welcome to Cape Cod Massachusetts
For those of you who may not know it, Cape Cod is the arm that protrudes from Massachusetts out in to the Atlantic Ocean. The population is normally about 228,000 people but swells tremendously in the summer months.
There are 15 towns on Cape Cod, 412 sq miles of land with Sandwich being the oldest, and 994 ponds. The deepest pond being Mashpee-Wakeby Pond , 95 feet deep!
I was born in Massachusetts and visited Cape Cod as a child, never even thinking I would live here. I have lived in Connecticut most of my adult life. Well, as a matter of fact all of my adult life since I am now quite a ways out there on the back 9.
I am told I am a cranky old man! I never thought I was cranky, but then again I really never thought of it. Set in my ways, old fashioned, perhaps, but not cranky. Actually I have been told twice in the past month so I guess I should re-evaluate myself and assume I am.
